In partnership with the Copperbelt University School of Natural Resources, Tangila Trail Series launched the Tangila Scholarship for Conservation in 2024 to provide much-needed financial support to the next generation of Zambians passionate about conserving Zambia’s wildlife and wild spaces.
This scholarship is provided to self-funded students enrolled in Year 2, 3, or 4 of a conservation-related degree programme at Copperbelt University. Preference is given to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Resource Management and Climate Change. However, students enrolled in other conservation-related degree programmes may also be eligible. The scholarship will cover full tuition costs for one academic year.
Four students from Copperbelt University were awarded the Tangila Scholarship for Conservation in its inaugural year.
