The Tangila Trail Series is a celebration of outdoor healthy living. Participants enjoy trail running, mountain biking, swimming, and the family-friendly atmosphere of The Bush Mart Bistro. The event takes place in the beautiful surrounds of Masebe Ranch and is hosted at the Mkushi Country Club. Proceeds from the event are directed to carefully selected non profit organizations that help protect Zambia’s wild spaces.
Run Wild | Ride Strong | Swim Free
At its heart, the Tangila Trail Series is about gratitude. Zambia has been very good to my family and we feel fortunate to call it home. My grandparents started farming in Mkushi in 1965 and my parents, Don and Marianthe, started their adventure on a nearby property in 1978. For 40 years they have developed Masebe Ranch with care and determination, creating the beautiful environment that my brother Rob and I feel so lucky to call home. What better way to acknowledge our good fortune than to share it with others?
The first Trail Series was held in 2016 and, with the support of the people closest to me, has grown into something of which we are all proud. We hope you enjoy running, cycling, and swimming through this special place and thank you for helping to raise funds for wildlife conservation. As you do, perhaps you will find a moment to reflect on all that you are grateful for, and how you might share this in a way that brings us all closer together and helps to protect the beautiful and vulnerable wild places of Zambia.
